The last time we babysat our nephews was when they were visiting from Vancouver Island. Both Douglas and I were surprised to see how much fast-food they downed when we went to go eat out. As much as we attempted to introduce the many different aspects of Asian cuisine to their young, Canadian taste-buds, we often went back to North American staples for them to chow on. One outing included a trip to Boston Pizza, where we were glad that our server gave our nephews two Canucks colouring books to keep them occupied.
Starting August 21st, 2017, Boston Pizza is offering Kids Cards loaded with 5 free kid’s meals for $5. With this card, one kid’s meal is free per visit, as long as there’s a purchase made over $16, for up to five visits.
All proceeds go to Boston Pizza Foundation Future Prospects, where every $5 gives a Kid an Hour with a Role Model.
So far, they have raised over 24 million dollars to date, which has added up to over 200,000 hours. The partners of Future Projects include five not-for-profit partners Big Brothers Big Sisters, JDRF, Kids Help Phone, Live Different and Rick Hansen Foundation. Through Boston Pizza Foundation Future Prospects and their partnering organizations, they will continously work together to ensure ALL kids have the opportunity to have a positive mentor or role model to help support, guide and empower them to become all that they can be.
